Lonzino Del Conero 100g sliced
This cured pork loin has been produced following traditional methods with only the best quality pigs from the Marche used. The meat is salted, covered in pepper and other spices, then tied by hand, before leaving it to dry for a long time. This allows the meat to absorb the flavour of the spices used.

The Lonzino is rosy red in colour and has an intense, aromatic and slightly peppery flavour. It is ideal to serve on its own with a splash of balsamic vinegar, or try it with some Verdepic (see our Antipasti section

About the Producer
The Salumificio del Conero are a group of artisan butchers and meat curers with a wealth of experience. They pride themselves on using only the finest quality pigs, all from the Marche region, but many from their own livestock. Their salamis and other meats are produced using closely guarded traditional recipes that have survived for generations.
