Quatirolo Lombardo 200g
The name of this cheese comes from the grass eaten by the cows in autumn, when having returned from the alpine pastures, they ate the last grass which had grown after the third cutting, named the "quartirolo". It is a low fat cheese made with skimmed cow's milk and has a fresh, sharp and slightly tangy taste. It is best enjoyed with white wine, fresh figs and Green Tomato Conserve (see our Jams & Chutneys section).
